12th Ave Thrift Donations: FAQ


Q: What types of donations do you accept?
A: We accept men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, and shoes. We also accept furniture, housewares, and small appliances.


Q: What types of donations do you not accept?
A: We do not accept large appliances (stoves, full sized refrigerators, washers/dryers, etc.). We also cannot accept mattresses/box springs, books/magazines, and old style tube TVs.


Q: What kind of repair does the furniture have to be in?
A: We ask that all furniture pieces be in sale-able condition. That means no broken parts, legs, etc. Also, all upholstered items need to be clean and free of tears, rips, and stains.


Q: Do you pick up donations?
A: Yes we do! We can pick up large furniture items located within the Davidson county area. Our normal pick up hours are 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-2pm on Friday. We do not currently pick up on Saturday or Sunday. Please call Sean at (615) 248-1981 ext. 208 to set up an appointment.


Q: Can I bring my donations to you?
A: Absolutely! Our hours are 7:30am-6pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday.


Q: Are my donations tax deductible?
A: Yes they are. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and would be happy to provide you with a donation receipt.
